Created in 2004 when Mr Samih SAWIRIS, CEO and Chairman of Orascom, whose ideas for the development of the area of El Gouna to be one of world's most beautiful getaways, has opened  El Gouna to outdoor experiences in hospitality Industry.


A solid financial foundation as well as excellent relationships in the tourism market forms the basis for the continual growth that is to a large extent based on management agreements.

Optima Hotels & Resorts will position itself even more in the niche segment and with its healthy expansion policy and expanding its portfolio to at least 10 hotels and resorts by the year 2025.

Furthermore, existing hotel(s) will continuously be upgraded and improved to guarantee the same standards everywhere.
